MAAIKE
Maaike is a new high-end
womenswear label based in Auckland, NZ.
The vision for the label is to create beautiful, original and wearable
garments for a wide age group of intellectual people who have confidence
and quirkiness. Fabrics are manipulated, twisted,
turned and wrapped around the body. Soft and layered shapes, peppered
with masculine details, create edgy garments in a shadowy palette of
black, white and grey accented with rich terracotta.
Produced entirely in New Zealand to the highest standards, Maaike
garments will always surprise with their attention to detail, innovative
cutting and above all, wearability.
Always layered and dark, sometimes mysterious and often androgynous, one
thing is for sure that Maaike will bring something fresh and different
to the New Zealand fashion landscape.
