Shakuhachi
In Japanese, Shaku-hachi means “one foot eight” referring to a traditional flute hand carved from bamboo. Perhaps because they like the idea of intricately crafted one-off pieces, perhaps because they just liked how it sounded – whatever reason the Australian brand has for adopting Shakuhachi as its namesake, it is definitely creating stand-out pieces that are part of their unique almost-harajuku inspired seasonal collections.
